The Back Cove 37: A vessel built in the Maine Lobster Yacht tradition.

New for 2009, E Marine Australia is proud to bring you the all new Back Cove 37, the largest Back Cove model to date. Following the success of the 26, 29 and 33 foot models, the all new 37 continues with the tradition of designing and building simple, low maintenance vessels that are easy on the eyes, easy on fuel bills and easy on yard expenses.

Like the other Back Cove models, the 37 features a single diesel engine and a bow thruster combination that is more fuel efficient than twin engine installations of comparable size and displacement. Common rail diesel engines are cleaner running and quieter thanks to modern fuel injection technologies. Coupled with electronic shifters and controls, operation is simple, smooth and predictable.

The Back Cove Yachts Design Team has created a vessel with a ‘space within a space’ in a layout that conveys an open, bright and airy feeling. The entire saloon deck is raised to the height of the steering pedestal, providing the same views for helmsman, guests and crew. The side decks of the Back Cove 37 are a study in safety and ergonomics. Sturdy hand rails always within reach, aggressive diamond pattern non skid and slightly raised bulwarks provide a genuine sense of security on her deck.

Entering the main saloon, you will find a world of luxury, light and space. To port is a two person love seat and to starboard a full L Settee that converts to additional sleeping accommodations when required. A stunning high gloss inlaid table is the centrepiece of this welcoming space. Twin STIDD seats at the helm provide great sight lines and comfort, whether at sea or at rest.

Moving forward, one sees the designer’s “space within a space” concepts play out. Two steps down to the galley and the crew is always a part of the scene in the saloon whilst retaining great sight lines to the waters and passing views. This full galley features solid countertops and elegant cherry cabinets, drawer style refrigerator, microwave and ceramic cooktop as well as an abundance of storage space for provisions and cooking gear.

Step down again into the sleeping cabin area where a full head with stall shower services two cabins, each with a double berth, the owner’s cabin featuring an elegant full queen sized island berth.

The Back Cove 37 continues in the Back Cove tradition of producing elegant vessels of timeless style that incorporate state of the art modern systems and construction methods. In every respect, the all new Back Cove 37 represents the very finest in engineering, build quality and value.
