The new 30 Back Cove is really and truly a reality as hull number one moves her way down the line with factory sea trials in Maine scheduled to take place in late May. Hull number two is in the mold now and then headed our way upon completion and we anticipate her arrival in Australia in August, narrowly missing the 2010 Sydney International Boat Show. Nonetheless, we will have a special launching ceremony at the Roseville Bridge Marina upon her arrival, so watch this page for further details as the date gets closer..

More exciting news as E Marine Australia is thrilled to report on the recent sale of our first Sabre Motor Yacht. This magnificent vessel is currently under construction in Maine, USA for her very fortunate owner. She will be finished with a Flag Blue coloured hull and equipped with Volvo Penta IPS drives offering unmatched manoeuvrability and economical performance and operation.

Here, we have a picture of her deck structure just out of the mold. She will be arriving here in Australia in October 2010 and we are every bit as excited as her owner!

2010 marks the 40^th Anniversary for Sabre Yachts. To celebrate this milestone, Sabre is holding an Anniversary Celebration for all Sabre and Back Cove owners in Boothbay Harbor, Maine on the 9^th, 10^th and 11^th of July. Given that Boothbay Harbor also happens to be my birthplace, we are headed over to help them celebrate.

Obviously, we would be thrilled if any owners or prospective owners wanted to make the trip…so if you have any interest, please let us know! We would be pleased to offer our local knowledge of the area and it would be a wonderful way to learn more about the heritage behind the brand and why we feel so passionate about what makes these boats so special.

Please join us at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show May 20 – 23, 2010 in Queensland. On display will be the stunning Back Cove 37 and superb Back Cove 33. In addition, we will have Bentley Collins on hand from the factory who will be able to discuss the exciting new 30 Back Cove and 46 Sabre that are currently scheduled for release this year.
